Prince Vanity 6 & the Time Triple Threat 1982-1983

Jamie Starr & The Starr %u2605 Company

Prince & the noituloveR:1999 the Time:What Time Is It? & Vanity 6
some serious music, serious attitude, hot Bsides, competitive shows, Uptown turned out

In general, the music made by Prince, The Time and Vanity 6 is a new sort of funk music - expansive, open to new rhythms and off-beat ideas. Best of all, it's a radical sound that's commercially successful, something adventurous music rarely achieves these days.By Ken Tucker Sunday, November 21, 1982

On 15th March 1983, Prince returns in triumph to Minneapolis for a concert at 13,500-seat Met Center in Bloomington. A post-show bash was held at the Registry Hotel in Bloomington. At 2:00 am, some members of [Prince]'s band, Vanity 6 and THE TIME played a short jam session with Prince on the drums and Sue Ann Carwell singing.

I got that! It's the shit! wildsign

I just got one question. During one of the songs, I think it was International Lover, I haven't seen it in a while--Prince is in shadow and undressing on a bed and basically "doing" air. But I always see "something" and my friends and I are convinced it's his... bananadance bananadance bananadance

I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me.
Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots.
Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch

lol naw it's the flap of his pants

But I love that performance, Lisa opening and closing it, the wildness of that performance hearing the screams and noises. It was live

FYI:

There is no evidence that the tour was ever called Triple Threat Tour"

The 1999 Tour is the official and only name it ever really had.
