meh I thought you'd bring an interesting ("knee deep") nasty list of real stinkers, but instead you just have shitted on TGE... his best 90's album)

God, I love some of the songs people are listing so much. I really do like his 90s music, regardless of what anyone here says. I think his music was more mature and serious in the 90s, and I appreciate that. I especially hate seeing songs from Chaos and Disorder on here... I love that album, especially 'Right The Wrong'. I don't know how that makes someone's list. I also don't understand the hatred for 'Jughead' when there's clearly far worse songs on D&P alone.

Anyway, my list excludes anything NPG (newpower soul) and all obscure b-sides that I wouldn't be able to remember anyway, and Crystal Ball. My list is only album tracks by Prince/ , and is not in order.

1. Daddy Pop
2. Walk Don't Walk
3. Push (these are the 3 songs on D&P worse than Jughead)
4. Solo
5. Courtin' Time
6. We Gets Up
7. Let's Have A Baby
8. Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother/Wife
9. Animal Kingdom
10. Man O' War

If I were counting Crystal Ball, which I'm not, then Poom Poom would be right up there. Anyway, mine is the definitive list, and is actually the only 10 album tracks from the 1990s that I strongly dislike.

Yours is my favorite list so far, though I do love 'Mad Sex'. I find it hard to believe anyone picks that out as a weak spot from NPS.

I will agree with a lot that is on here but you have to consider with his size of catalog, you're bound to find some unpleasent efforts peppered through out.

He tries to keep it fresh and current (for which I admire him) but not all aspects of pop music are his cup of tea.

New Power Generation, yes. Without a doubt. I think its funny when they lyrics mention "Old Fashoin Ideas" when its his most dated material ever.

# 3 - I always thought it was a way to book end his Warner recordings since I think the Vault was the last? Think about it, "For You" begining, "Had You" the last which says f@ck you, not to his fans but to Warner. Just my idea.

Its a good one, that album was really a big F u to Warners and that song does have a finality about it, but why did he have 2 take it out on his fans?

To me nothing captures the essence of "90's Prince" than this GEICO piggy commercial.

I can imagine the mom driving as the WB record executives.

Totally agree! Come is an amazing song especially because of the Horns. I also love "Solo, Letitgo Space, and sometimes "Race". Haha

Anything with a rap in it by "the bandmember who shall not be named". And I mean ANYTHING. There is not one of them that I like. Straight RUINED some songs that could have otherwise been quite good. That already totals more than ten, so I have no further need to make a list.
