1. Scritti Politti never recorded at Paisley Park. Their keyboard player David Gamson did, while producing Tony LeMans album in 1989 or so.

2. Green Gartside did not write or produce "Good Love" lol. It's definitely possible that they influenced Prince to write that song, but their production style on "Cupid & Psyche '85" was largely influenced by the Minneapolis Sound in the FIRST place.

I loved Scritti, the 12inch's and b-sides (called "versions") from Cupid & Psyche '85 were bloody brilliant.

Songs To Remember was a tasty wee album too.

I lost a lot of interest in them after C&P'85 though.

Trent reznor told me that Prince traded 2 ribs of his ribs to Green Gartside for a song called "hey hannigan"

"Good love" does sound inspired by Scritti's then sound (or David Gamsons sound), but other then that the only known connection is Tony Lemans.

I love "good love" though.

FACTS: Scritti Politti sold nothing to Prince, recorded nothing at Paisley Park and Good Love had nothing to do with Green Gartside or David Gamson. Gamson indeed produced Tony LeMans but there was absolutely no musical collaboration between him and Prince on this album or anything else as far as we know.

FACTS: Writing in capital letters without periods, commas and question marks is boring for others to read, and makes you look/sound like a mentally retarded person.

Thanks cool

Just for your information, my has Down's Syndrome, so the fact their is no punctuation is totally insignificant. Maybe the next time you call someone a mentally retarded person, you might want to think of others reading the post!/10/11 11:17am]

I agree that we needto put the r word in the same category as the n word. It is hate speech. Some say they mean it like "fire retardant" but that is a cop out.

But is using tge term 'idiot' really any better? I know I have used it but I try not to. It was in the past an officially used term.

I don't understand anything about people answering me then editing everything they said before I could read it, neither do I understand people claiming they are their own son rolleyes

What I know is that people need to speak properly online, because the internet is no excuse for talking shit. And in the EXCEPTIONAL case in which someone has a whatever syndrome, then I'm sorry but everyday we have freaks who have no syndrome posting here saying things like "HEY GUYS DID YOU KNOW THAT PRINCE USED TO CHEW SHOES THIS IS SO WEIRD WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS AND I'D ALSO LOVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF TERENCE TRENT D'ARBY I LOVE THE BEATLES AND LOLLYPOPS ALSO", well, u know what I mean... rolleyes

Peace wink
