I can't see a digital remaster of SOTT coming out before a digital remaster of Purple Rain. If this is about more vinyl remasters, that's great...but they're not repackaged or redesigned.

I guess it could be a new DVD or Blu-Ray reissue of the SOTT movie. That's quite possible since we already got something like that for Purple Rain.

No, we know it's not Prince or anyone from his camp. But whoever it is, they may have some accurate source of information, since they predicted back in January that Prince would come to the UK this summer. (Though of course that could have been a guess.)

I question the accuracy of this information, just like I question the stuff

that Dr FB posts.

I still wonder if any of this info has validity. The account has pretty much been silent since the W2A shows started back in December. But today we have at least 5 tweets (from the twit- lol).

If we had some official word about remasters from anyone, I wouldn't waste time trying to read between the lines of Twitter postings to see if they are completely fake or just partially fake. But this sort of thing is all we've got. When people who actually know something come on here, they get ripped to shreds for daring to speak to us (see the threads about fDeluxe).

Because we aren't in LA to see the shows tonight and there is nothing else happening on the org unless you care to share your opinion on durex lotion or your favorite sex position in GD!

So lame those twitter accounts. I guess a lot of people who are new on twitter believe those are all real Prince accounts or whatever. It'd be half bad if the impersonators would say they are fans, and some may be better informed than others along those lines...funny crap!

Prince was a pioneer in communicating with fans over the Internet. Now he's too cool for that.

I wonder if the reason why the remasters are coming out on vinyl is that he likes the idea of people going to the wrecka stow instead of downloading the stuff from the dead internet.

I wonder if HE even knows that they're not that many record stores anymore. I mean things have changed rapidly since 1996 when he started embracing the net lol but he probably does know he's just being stingy right now.

Even if he was still embracing the net, I don't know if he himself would've still join Twitter though.

He certainly wouldn't be late getting on the bandwagon. If he was still interested in that sort of thing, he would have been one of the first celebrities on Twitter and by now he probably would have closed his account saying it's jumped the shark.
