With all respect, I think that's pure nonsense.

Again, if most of these 'heads-up' (and not 'bragging') threads weren't started the vast majority of orgers would take a long time to learn that a certain boot is out, if they ever do.

About begging orgnotes, what TDGardener said is that he only expects A MINIMUM of good manners when you're orgnoting somebody to request a link or a hint.

Anyway, it's FASTER to use Google than sending orgnotes. These have to be answered, Google answers immediately.

Come on! One has to be a complete moron (or live in a hole in the middle of the desert) to ignore the usual resources for bootlegs.

I'd wish many other things in life were as easy to get as them!

1) It's not bragging, we've all been discussing the show. Sorry you feel left out.

2) Don't ask for bootlegs in threads or PMs. The rules of the site state that. If you feel genuinely left out, make some friends.

3) Just fucking google it. Seriously, what is wrong with you that you can't google it? Everyone gets the same google results. The last time I told someone where and what to google, I was banned for a week (20TEN release). So no, you can fuckin Google it just like most people do and unjam the stick from within your ass that is whispering sweet self entitled nothings to you.

Maybe because then people get inundated with requests and orgnotes, and they don't want their inbox filled up with such messages. It's every user's/person's right to feel that way and have it adhered to.

And no, it's not bragging because it's really just like an announcement that something's been released or about to be and an attempt to discuss it. Do you feel like people are bragging that they say they have a ticket to an upcoming concert, front row or otherwise? Same diff. As mentioned before, most people wouldn't even know this stuff is out there if it wasn't for the threads, so why throw hate on this? Be glad we're talking about it at all. If someone says to use Google, which is a HUGE hint in and of itself, why is there a problem with that? Could it be that you feel somehow "left out" and you're transferring that feeling to us, saying that we're making you feel as if we're bragging?? Just askin'.

The rules clearly state any discussion about where to acquire boots is not allowed.

The title of the thread makes it even clearer.

Asking where to get boots could very well lead to the end of DISCUSSING boots on the org.

In this case, it is easier & faster to acquire this boot by searching for it than by asking for it.

With these facts in mind, anyone who flaunts this rule.... is a DICK! (screw that Richard stuff)

Well, I didn't have any clue of bootlegs and was able to get hold of the show...really, 5 minutes of google and half a brain is all it takes...

I gotta say, this is a dream release, incredible sound quality and being able to hear gems like Roadhouse Garden in such clarity is just amazing!
