For real, though. When you see artists who have followings of their own getting giddy like they...well like one of us it speaks volumes. Confirms that for all the missteps, when you get down to it, Dude is really on another level.

I haven't watched the entire show in a long time, but isn't Tevin Campbell and MC Hammer sitting around Sheila and Little Richard too? Duane told me once that Prince loved to do Arsenio since he would give him the entire show, unlike Letterman or Leno. Patti talking about him changing outfits is funny. When Glam Slam was around he would come down there until the bar closed and then have a party out at Paisley Park and he would have changed outfits and like she said dressed to the 9s.

I'm torn between that song "Yo Mister". These two are the only decent songs I could think of that he gave to somebody who was not a protegee.

I like this interview, but I think Patti Labelle is a horrible singer & I find it hard to listen to those tracks Prince did for her without cringing.....

I used to think that until I read that Charles White book. He's truly an endearing personality if those things written about him(even the bad stuff) were true.
