Prince Announces L.A. Shows!!! Tix On Sale TOMORROW For First 3 At The Forum

 

Prince announced last week that he’ll be playing a Twenty One Night stand in the Los Angeles area as part of his Welcome 2 America concert tour. We got more details today in a press release from LiveNation. Highlights include:

 

- The first 3 shows will be at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, April 14, Thursday, April 21, and Friday, April 22. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, April 12 at 10am Pacific time via ticketmaster.com

*Prince Welcome 2 America Live “21 Nite Stand” Los Angeles Dates:

Thursday, April 14th - The Forum - Los Angeles On Sale: 4/12 at 10am

Thursday, April 21st -The Forum - Los Angeles On Sale: 4/12 at 10am

Friday, April 22nd    - The Forum - Los Angeles On Sale: 4/12 at 10am

 

 

- In an effort to make the show affordable for all of his fans, Prince has declared that roughly 85% of all tickets will be available at $25, inclusive of all service fees.

 

-- Citi cardmembers will have access to preferred seats through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete details visit citiprivatepass.com

   

No word yet on who the special guests will be for each show, but past artists in New York, Oakland and the Carolinas have included Esperanza Spalding, Maceo Parker, Graham Central Station, Santana, Lalah Hathaway, Cee Lo Green, Cassandra Wilson, and Sheila E.

 

So that’s 3 shows we know of so far, 18 more to go. LiveNation says that additional L.A. dates and special guests will be announced shortly. We’re loving those ticket prices because that means more purple hippies will be able to go multiple shows.

 

And don’t forget to tune into the Lopez Tonight show on TBS this Wednesday night to catch Prince and the NPG performing live.

Nice to know that he feels people who are wealthy in Hollywood deserve 85% of tickets to be affordable. Guess that the people in the south in the Carolinas who are really doing bad deserved to have at least 60% of the tickets be non-affordable. Of course, we still paid, including me.

I'm sorry I paid for 5 tickets and didn't spend a penny over $300. Maybe you should have gotten something a little more "affordable". Always complaining I tell ya.

 Well, anyone in the Carolinas who wanted to attend one of the W2A shows, at the time it was in that location, and was  "doing bad" as you stated,  financially and couldn't afford to go, obviously some made the choice not to attend for that reason, but... it is apparent, those who decided to attend, made that choice on their own, fully aware of the ticket prices at time of purchase. Glad you had a chance to attend though.

 im reviewing the 1st 2 sites, there are some decent deals, my fiance is rolling his eyes ofcourse, cuz he's not gonna wanna hear im tryin 2 spend more money on P, i guess its things like this, that make him refer to me as "My girlfriend formerly known as Layna." LOL

Tickets r already on sale now on The Forum website 4 regular prices. guess the $25.00 tickets r going 2 b on Ticketmaster's site starting tomorrow April 12th @ 10am.

  think Prince may add more dates 2 The Forum when it sells out. There were more dates at first 4 The Forum earlier this morning 4 the 15,16,17 & 23 ...
