Has Prince ever been single? I'm wondering has this man ever been single, it seems like everytime he breaks up with someone he's got a back up plan. Is there a moment in time, in adulthood, that Prince has been all by himself with no one he is dating.. For example, Carmen Ehoedra, Mayte, nona, sheila E, Sheena Easton, Tamar, vanity, appolonia, Bria Valente, etc.. all those ppl, has he ever been single? lol | |

I honestly never thought about it and of course I don't know, but it doesn't appear that he's ever been single. Then you have to ask what constitutes being single. You can have casual relationships with various women and be still be single, right? | |

Just because Prince is (ahem...was) open with his sexuality, people assumed he couldn't live without a pretty young thing dangling on his arms. Why do fans assume that Prince was involved with most of the women he worked with? For example, we assume that with Shiela E, he must've been "hittin that" and yet he kept it strictly professional with Rosie Gaines. Him and Sheila never together?? Of all that time & them still being associates, Im' sure at least a kiss was shared during the SOTT era. No way possible no small relationship and/or fling never happened. I know it's just business and friendship now. During that time, he was with, dated, whatever Cat as well.

That one, I'm not sure. "Sunday in the Park", if taken literally, would definitely depict Tamar causing problems for Prince and Mani. Depends on if you take those things seriously or not. Other than that anecdotal shit, it's not widely considered they were ever an official couple - he was married at the time and she was gone from PP shortly after Mani filed for divorce. | |
