Who voted this survey? It couldn't of been from us voting. I never saw the voting survey for this list. I agree with some. But most is not the decision of true fans of Prince.

Not true. The link was advertised here, moquake and all the other major Prince-fan sites many times for several weeks leading up to the close. We ended up getting just short of 1,000 votes. The vast majority of people who voted were orgers, moquakers and the like. So if anything, this is more weighted towards the view of "true" Prince fans than the "casual" fan.

I was surprised 7 didn't make the overall top 20 let alone the 90s top 20. Agree with the vast majority of the picks but would also like to see I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore, Come On, Dark, Letitgo, Dinner with Delores etc.

Emancipation is more of an all round standout project of 36 tracks rather than individual standouts IMO so not too surprised in that regard.

Keep up the good work guys, always enjoy the podcasts. Hope we get to see the entire list someday?

Dude, the vote was on for almost a month and almost a thousand people voted, and I would guess mostly from the org and moquake so if that isn't the majority of Prince fans I don't know what is.

Yeah, it's all from the same vote. Out of the Top 20 of all time list which we covered a few weeks back, 18 of them were from the 80s and the only two 90s tracks were from Graffiti Bridge, which you could argue is still an 80s album as most of it was recorded in the 80s. A lot of people requested that we do a Top 20 90s episode so that's what we did. Too bad you missed out. We'd love to include more votes, but that would skew the data with people voting already knowing what the results are. Maybe next time.

Some of those songs are decent, but Gett Off is not the best, still this list shows how much weaker his 90s output was to the 80s list. Theres absolutely no songs on it that are the calibre of When Doves Cry, Adore, When 2 R in Love, Little Red Corvette or even Electric Chair
