Prince concerts without the Hohner?

How loyal is Prince with the use of his Hohner Telecaster guitar?

Has he ever not used it in a concert? (except for the almost guitar-less Parade Tour)

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

I think the Sign O the times tour, Diamonds and pearls (except for the warner demo show), ACT 1 +II, Gold and NPS.

But at the same time, it's been there pretty much since square 1 for Prince and is still used today so it's definately his main weapon of choice all round..

I remember seeing it come on stage and be tested by a crew member at Roskilde just before the show and that itself was just like seeing a celebrity for me cool

RESPECT TO THE HOHNER!

To be honest, I wish he used a different guitar for certain songs live. The hohner works perfectly for funkier songs but it always comes up the tiniest bit short when he's trying to play lead with it.

Didn't use it at all during Diamonds & Pearls European Tour, Act II,Gold or Jamnof the Year Tour....in fact I never saw it live until ONA

I miss the Cloud a bit....but look at it now and all those pickups look ugly

That reminds me of how I met one of my closest friends.

I was at the premiere of "Graffiti Bridge" here in town and when the part came where The Time grabbed the Hohner from P and threw it, I said in a rather loud voice, "Don't you touch that guitar!" LOL, I still have no idea why I said that, but after the movie, a guy came over and introduced himself. He'd heard me and figured I was a big fan.

We've been buddies ever since.

I've been under the illusion that he didn't use it at all during the 90s, except perhaps in the studio.

Maybe that's why I haven't notice him not using it, I dislike the 90's.
