When you listen to 20Ten, which songs are getting the most spin right now?

We get to know the album and what we like. At different times our focus shifts from certain songs to others, regardless whether they're our absolute favorites or what we're into right now. Which songs have your focus at this time?

For me it's:

Compassion - nice shifts in tempo
Beginning Endlessly - nice buildup to the chorus
Lavaux - hot melody
Everybody Loves Me - fun and invigorating

I like the album, but I'm over it right now. I'm tired of it. I just got so absorbed in it before we reviewed it on my radio show, and now my interest has imploded.

At the beginning no song caught my ear in particular, except for "Act of God" - that stood out a bit. By now I have begun to really like "Sticky like Glue" and, since listening to the CD again yesterday, I can't get "Walking in Sand" out of my ears. Nice melody. smile

I listened a lot to Act of God a while back. I like where Prince takes the music starting at "But I got news for u, freedom ain't free" and I like the way he diversifies the music in the last half of the song.

Future Soul Song - an instant classic.

Lay it Down - he comes strong on this.

Sticky Like Glue - nice bounce to it.

Lavaux - nice vibe.

Act of God is growing on me though....

Act of God. The whole "Call it What'chu want, it's just an ACT o' GOD..." chant is so darn catchy.

Sticky and Lavaux are other favorites. I can't pick a clear fave though.

I tend to listen to this chunk a few times over:

Beginning Endlessly

Sticky Like Glue

Lavaux

Act Of God

Laydown

Laydown

-I always listen to Laydown at least twice in a row

each time it comes up.

My iPod playlist for this album at the moment is:

Cause & Effect

Compassion

Beginning Endlessly

Sticky Like Glue

Lavaux

Act Of God

Hot Summer

Laydown

Laydown

Future Soul Song

Everybody Loves Me

Walk In Sand

Sea Of Everything

I just can't have the ballads breaking up

the flow so I have them at the end and

play them when I feel like it.

Beginning>Sticky>Lavaux is killer!

I listened to this album 2 or 3 times.

Now it happily belongs to the forgettable past.

Like everything since Musicology (included) I'm trying to create myself the illusion that those turds never existed... lol

Beyond the first week I owned it, Future Soul Song is the only one on the album I still listen to. (And I love the song to death.)

Compassion - MORE MORE MORE like his would be GREAT !

Beginning Endlyless - 9.5/10

Future Soul Song - Like the tune, lyrics make me wanta float away and never return

Skicky Like Glue - I wanta go to the Roller Ring and skate backwards while looking at hot MILF's

Act of God - Like hell it is, , more like an Act of Man's Greed. Prince knows the score and fools all the layman listeners.

Lavaux - Welcome to the year 2010 Prince-stlye. Dig it on repeat 4-ever !!!

The Vocal delivery is sensational. When the 2nd Verse starts ...I get goose bumps. Love that shit!

The music is an Orange Sherbet/ Canada Dry Float. Creamy and Sweet !!!

As most you'all know, I think the ... (well, you know!)
