Prince did not appear high. I saw a bottle of water or Perrier at his table. It wasn't alcohol. He was sitting with a young woman, Rhonda Smith, and a man that was probably security. Prince looked happy and healthy. He stood up and applauded Larry and the band quite a few times. I had an unobstructed view of him, but I wasn't really making it my business to gawk. Why would people who weren't even there, put it out there that he was high?

well, ten years ago this is what made me less of a believer in the magic that is prince.

he and larry began playing 'thank you for lettin me be myself' and 'everyday people' at EVERY. SINGLE. SHOW.

anyhoo, it was beyond sad to see someone like prince, who has a huge catalog of songs to choose to play from, but for whatever reason, chooses to use up two songs of his live sets for those two, old, stale, not-fresh, dead boring, outdated, 70s classics.

it was quite sad that someone as creative as prince would sink to the level of playing the same stuff over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

(and, he has played those two songs in concert even more times than i have typed that).

I like larry graham and all. he is a real gent.

but it was like wtaching the death of cool .. ..

prince didnt write or create all the musc that were recorded. as for him playing with larry, that the best move he could have ever done. it better then hearing his boring set.

OK just watched the first (best) of the 3 YT clips on DrFB and that was a groove. Too Cool.

They are all looking good. I keep saying this but L. Graham hasn't changed one bit. I think just the fro. I love to see P.Nelson in his suits..He always looks so stylish and so smooth. I wish he had it going on like that on the latest front cover of Ebony. --Anyway, it looks llike they are having a good time. I would love to see L.G. in concert and if P.N. wants to show up there too, that would be alright with me.

I only had my blackberry too. I took a picture or two, but they came out way too blurry. I had such a great time.
