"temptation"... i know why a lot of people are annoyed by this song (the high-pitch squeeling, the conversation with god at the end, etc), but to me, this is almost like the ultimate prince song... i can never listen to it just once...
and "for you"... i always see a lot of people on this site bashing this album... it's one of my favorite prince cds... he jams on this shit... that acapella intro to the title track... that funky ass bass at the beginning of "i'm yours" that gives way to the hard rock guitars... i like the fact that this is one of the few albums (not including "the truth") where you can hear a lot of prince's acoustic guitar playing... you could still hear the acoustic on "prince" but for most of the 80s and 90s, it wasn't there... i just like the fact that it sounds 70s to me... i love 70s funk and r&b, and i love to hear prince in this context, because so many people automatically think about his output whenever you mention prince... especially if you're talking about early prince, then people think about "1999" and "dirty mind"... but he had been jamming before then... I love "Tick Tick Bang." I like an awful lot of the NPS CD ("Mad Sex" "When U Love Somebody" "Wasted Kisses" "Come On" "The One") and I'm not ashamed! I also dig the majority of the Rave CD. I don't think anyone has named "Zannalee" yet and I love that song.  | |

i really like daddy pop. both for the song and message. please someone out there, tell me you agree. please hammer, don't hurt them. i also like new position, feeling that it is similar to daddy pop. and release it, i really like release it. there's a part in the song where it is just the bassline, and the way it builds up to it is almost faintworthy --------
