Prince sings, "The Road U choose 2 walk in this life is the one that leads into the next."

I say, "I'll Keep Holding On, because my love is true."

This Love

Within the moonlight’s shadowed night
A lonely groom just isn’t right
As passion’s warmed by candlelight
A tear tis’ all befriends the bride.
A hearth on high has heard the cries
On the wings of Eden’s Paradise
An ageless love, tender and divine
Has sewn two hearts in Heavenly time.
Loneliness keeps them apart tonight
Bound to love’s eternal flight
Remember destiny’s sweet design
And know this love in every eye.~T

All I can assume is that Prince contacted Shelby due to posting his video's. I don't have anything to do with internet music at all. I believe Prince just wants to watch over that circle of things. cool

WHY he contacted her initially isn't really all that relevent; the fact is that SHE GOT HIS ATTENTION and established at least a short-term relationship with him to the point where she even went to Paisley Park and spent one-on-one time with him.

Maybe you aren't into'internet music', but you could expand your "campaign" beyond just posting here which, if you're honest with yourself about it, is really not going to accomplish anything for you.

WHY he contacted her is relevant to me but I agree and I think Tame knows Prince is not going to marry her. I think she feels safe living her life this way. Hey, if she's happy and doesn't hurt herself or anyone else with all of this love for Prince she claims to have, it can stay between her and God.

Have you ever tried to imagine what silence looks like? I'm trying to be your girlfriend Tame and I would ask my closest friend that question if she behaved like you. lol I'm laughing but I'm serious. Regarding Prince, what does silence look like to you right now?

I suppose being silent about someone U Love...Looks like a poem I wrote.

The Day

On
The Day
I am looking you in the eye
With a smile
That has to say nothing
I will know
We have met
Halfway across the sky
On
This day
Out of the corner of my eye
An Angel
That has nothing to say
Will fly by
With a smile
Knowing the day divine.

Is it lonely?

Yes. I choose to be lonely over having a relationship that I don't believe would be deep enough.

I'm the kind of person that likes everybody. I can love someone easily. Sexual attraction is common amongst men and women.

I don't want a relationship that will exhaust itself. This is why I long 4 Prince. Prince is a smart man, that is consciously always growing, as I am. I desire Prince as a man that wants what I do. Prince and I are thinkers. I want a relationship with a vital heart, where something new is always being brought to the table.

The Bible says: U shall know them by their fruit. I feel like a basket of Prince fruit without a place to put it. I can't give who I am to another man...It wouldn't make any sense to me. I seem to be a misfit of some kind, or a nowhere woman. I can't stop believeing that home is where the heart is...and I belong 2 Prince. cool

I appreciate that this thread, “The Big Picture,” has continued. Thank U 2 all who are reading.

I care about the younger Prince fans that casually pass thru this room or visit frequently. Whatever images some people paint of Prince are their own interpretations of this beautiful man. Prince has certainly made a unique, “One-Of-A-Kind,” impression on my life.

Not every Love Story has a fairy tale ending.

I Love Prince because it has grown naturally for 30 years. I believe I know enough about Prince to desire Prince as my husband, however, I do not expect Prince’s feelings in return. They are wishful feelings at their purest.

I do trust God’s will 4 my life. I believe in a Heavenly design made for every person.

Should Prince desire a Cathedral of Love built one minute at a time, I trust in my heart’s foundation. Marriage is a two person journey. My profession of Love is one-sided on these pages. I Sincerely respect Prince’s Soul, and most certainly, God’s design for Prince’s personal Love Life. ~T heart heart

This will be my last post on this thread. I thought I'd lighten things up a little. I know that poetry belongs in the artist's forum, However, this is a poem I had the opportunity to give to K.C.& the Sunshine Band's Sound Tech. about 2 years ago. It was written a couple of years before that. It's really not much, but 4 what it's worth it gave me an "A," in a poetry class.

A page from the book of frightful things
Like the shattering of glass when the Opera sings
A walk in the woods on Halloween night
Escorted by glowing evil Owl’s eyes
A red hot shower at the Bate’s motel
Teaching a preschooler to play “William Tell.”
Running over the dog of Al Capone
A loan shark calling all day on the phone
A Spider that daily doubles in size
As you watch him practicing standing upright
A stranger that calls you from under your bed
Or the closet, the basement, or inside your head
A nightmare that haunts a Heavy Metal stage hand

In my opinion, the Big Picture is, “Prince’s Legacy.

Prince has millions of people that have followed his successful career since 1978 with his debut album, “For You.”

Coming through the years there has been a diverse audience that bring Prince’s fans from all over the World into an internet room as this. “The prince.org.” In this room there appears to be a parting of the sea. Those of us that continue to support Prince in a positive way, and those that take cheap shots at Prince’s character whenever they can. This room is definitely for volleying personal opinions based on the music we love and should be within a peaceful limit of remarks.

Knowing Prince as a loving spiritual man, any fan can say that Prince loves us as a brother or sister. Any fan can also admit that no one deserves repeated attacks on their character.
New Prince fans pass through this room of confusion, where mockery of Prince’s symbol exists, the young/wild Prince of the early 80’s is framed and illuminated, as well as other loose personal details of Prince’s life being mentioned inappropriately.

My crime on the other side of the sea is to Love Prince too much. Most people know that I would love to be Prince’s wife if it were to make us both happy, however, if Prince didn’t love me as a man loves a wife, I can say that I come to the “prince.org.” to talk about the beautiful difference Prince’s music has made in my life. I come here to support the inspiration Prince has been in my personal artistic expression, and my spiritual walk with God.

When a Prince fan reaches a point where they don’t get something within by loving Prince as a person, those people can just walk away from this closer circle to Prince…And still love the music.

When I say, “The Big Picture is Prince’s Legacy,” it is because his music is good for the soul. Prince’s art should be respected. It is disappointing to come to the “prince.org,” as a Prince friend and feel like the only thing you can do on behalf of Prince is drown out the antagonists with “Tsunami Emotion.” A “Hang-10 Love Wave,” is what we should all be on.
On behalf of my enduring friendship with Prince, I will believe that newcomers to this site will come to know the love in Prince’s musical legacy and blind their eyes to the vindictive nature of some Prince’s followers.

“Prince’s Legacy,” has always intended to unite the “Brotherhood of Man,” and I will continue to believe that with time his legacy will unite his fans. Thank U 4 reading. ~Tame cool

This is the story of the day Prince and I met.

I wrote this a couple of years ago.

My Purple Crush.

Sentimental is where I must begin.
April 9th 2008 marks a 25-year anniversary of the day I had the pleasure to encounter Prince on the Cleveland Colleseum Stage.
This story will be missing details that are solely personal 2 me, such as the moving emotions I was experiencing at the time.
I was definitely new 2 love, when Prince had to walk into my life shirtless for the second time.
The first time being 1979 when "I wanna be your lover" was taking over the airwaves, and the "Prince," album cover was taking over my heart.
"I had to have a plan...to meet this man."
I mentioned to my friends that it would happen.
As I turned fourteen and now the owner of, "For You," as well as "Controversy," and "Dirty Mind," I was still falling 4 my purple crush.
I was sixteen when I heard that "1999" was coming to town and I had purchased my tickets.
A photographer friend of mine took pictures of my tickets, and another friend of mine, Kurt, and I went to the show April 9th, 1983.
I had the 8x10 in an envelope marked, "What's the hang-up? What's the scam? I guess you think I'm just another one of your fans." ....."Well, I'm not, so don't treat me like one."
And a red rose.
I wrote a hello letter 2 Prince, and a poem or two, that I barely remember.
I believe I gave my envelope to "Chick," however if I hadn't, I had met him backstage.
Within a half an hour of giving this photo to security, I was escorted backstage and to the right wing.
"Vanity-6" was on stage and I sat comfortably on a road case alone.
Prince came to me with a guitar in hand. And shirtless.
Prince came nearer to me and whispered, "Thank you for the rose."
I froze.
I smiled I hope, and said nothing.
Prince finished the song and softly left the stage.
"The Time," came up the stairs, I said, "Hello" to the members as "Vanity-6" were leaving the stage and "The Time," were going on stage. I remember dancing a few minutes before I was escorted back to my 12th row floor seats , but somehow I remember watching the show from the second row.
Prince doesn't know this but I went back to my seat and broke out in hives for two days. I was watching the concert itching with white welts all over.
I wonder if I'm still allergic to him. That's nothing but, "rash," behavior.
Anyway, that was twenty-five years ago.
A rose 4 a rose, I thought.
Prince is a beautiful guy.
I remember telling the story to a DJ friend of mine, Todd Zilla, and he was funny to say to me in his cute southern accent..."You had it all planned out, didn't you?, you just didn't figure out what you were gonna say."
And that is the funny truth. I guess my plan worked out, kind of.
I should have conjured up running away with him 2, and maybe that could have come true. I had just turned seventeen two days prior. After I was escorted back to my seat, I felt I was treated very kindly and I knew nothing about using a backstage pass to return backstage to say goodbye to Prince. I wish I would have, however, knowing how concerts are today, Prince was probably gone in 60 seconds.
I have a feeling Prince assumed I was illegal, although I knew nothing of statutory laws at that age...I was just chasing after my purple crush.
I can say that I felt that I had known Prince forever. And I loved him. And I still do.
Twenty-five years later.~T cool
