My life isn't being wasted. I busy myself with Art most of the time. I'm not afraid to be alone with God in my life. I worry about loving another man and it not being enough. Why should I settle for second best, or give second best love to some other guy?

I'd be better off alone. If that were to happen, than I'll just write books. cool

Also, I wouldn't tell anyone to live their heart's mind as I do. I have had my own personal journey through this line of thinking.

Prince can come along at any minute and say, "I'm flattered, but I don't want to love U as a wife..." If Prince said that to me, I would respect that, and take the appreciation for Prince's music with me to my grave.

When someone stands at the marriage altar, "I Do," should be sincere. I can't help that my two marriages ended in dissolutions. They were beyond repair. I'm no stranger to something going sour after a period of years. As we get older we can see a little deeper into how two people can always grow 2gether. I don't go on and on about loving Prince because I think we would fail as a couple. I believe in Prince's happiness as well as my own. We aren't kids anymore. Adults know how to Love, and keep on doing it. If Prince and I don't end up 2gether, it's only because Prince chose to Love someone else before giving me the opportunity to Love him. I think Prince would be happy to come see about me. Only time will tell. cool

27 years sounds more like unhealthy obsession to me, but you do you...

Also, do you realize how many roses/gifts Prince has gotten?
I was talking to a bodyguard once who told me all those things get tossed in a dumpster before they board the tour bus to move on from each venue. The thought of your rose was probably short-lived at best.

So U are a girl that Loves Love like anyone else does. How can a marriage come through 50 years if it doesn't come through 30 years? Eternal Love starts with a first kiss.
Roses wither, yet the love within the offering lasts 4ever. cool

Yes I am...and If all of this Love Talk ends with Prince getting married to someone other than me, all I would like to do is give Prince a life size Purple Fabric Cloud Guitar that I made from a vintage bedspread that I used as a Christmas Tree Skirt.

Now that right there is the funniest fucking thing I've read on here in quite a while. And I read both "Purple and Gold" threads all the way through!

I'm not sure what's better: the fact that you made a cloud guitar out of fabric (because really, who doesn't enjoy a good fabric guitar?), the fact that you felt it important to specify that the bedspread was vintage, or the fact that you felt it important to mention that you once used that ratty old thrift store bedspread as a Christmas tree skirt (note the appropriate capitalization).

Really...I was walking on The Beach all day long, doing Art and dreaming about the Rose I gave Prince 4 Love...oh yeah, and laughing at you. So thanks for brightening this faggot's day!

In my opinion, the Big Picture is, “Prince’s Legacy.

Prince has millions of people that have followed his successful career since 1978 with his debut album, “For You.”

Coming through the years there has been a diverse audience that bring Prince’s fans from all over the World into an internet room as this. “The prince.org.” In this room there appears to be a parting of the sea. Those of us that continue to support Prince in a positive way, and those that take cheap shots at Prince’s character whenever they can. This room is definitely for volleying personal opinions based on the music we love and should be within a peaceful limit of remarks.

Knowing Prince as a loving spiritual man, any fan can say that Prince loves us as a brother or sister. Any fan can also admit that no one deserves repeated attacks on their character.
New Prince fans pass through this room of confusion, where mockery of Prince’s symbol exists, the young/wild Prince of the early 80’s is framed and illuminated, as well as other loose personal details of Prince’s life being mentioned inappropriately.

My crime on the other side of the sea is to Love Prince too much. Most people know that I would love to be Prince’s wife if it were to make us both happy, however, if Prince didn’t love me as a man loves a wife, I can say that I come to the “prince.org.” to talk about the beautiful difference Prince’s music has made in my life. I come here to support the inspiration Prince has been in my personal artistic expression, and my spiritual walk with God.

When a Prince fan reaches a point where they don’t get something within by loving Prince as a person, those people can just walk away from this closer circle to Prince…And still love the music.

When I say, “The Big Picture is Prince’s Legacy,” it is because his music is good for the soul. Prince’s art should be respected. It is disappointing to come to the “prince.org,” as a Prince friend and feel like the only thing you can do on behalf of Prince is drown out the antagonists with “Tsunami Emotion.” A “Hang-10 Love Wave,” is what we should all be on.
On behalf of my enduring friendship with Prince, I will believe that newcomers to this site will come to know the love in Prince’s musical legacy and blind their eyes to the vindictive nature of some Prince’s followers.

“Prince’s Legacy,” has always intended to unite the “Brotherhood of Man,” and I will continue to believe that with time his legacy will unite his fans. Thank U 4 reading. ~Tame cool

honest question Tame, what do your "kids" think of yor love of someone who is not their daddy?

My own family have said some of the same things that I hear here.

My youngest son Tate, who is 13, told me how proud he was of the fact that no matter what anyone has said, that I follow my own heart. He told me it was an admiral quality to keep loving the same person. Tate also gave me a lecture on Prince. He said, "Mom," U know how these rock-n-rollers are...If Prince is smart enough to come to U, just don't treat him like the Queen of Switzerland or anything like U treated my Dad." It was Funny.

There ya go, out of the mouths of Babes. cool

and you still fantasize?

Tate sounds like he has his head screwed on right....
except one thing puzzles me...he is 13, your obsession is over 20 yrs...hmmm

so, my next question is:
did you lower your standards (ie settle for "second best" ) or was Tate an immaculate conception?

U can think what U want too. This is nice Guitar. It's a purple crushed material. I wouldn't ever send it through the mail. Looks like something Jimi Hendrix would hang on his wall!
The point is that Prince's biggest fan made it 4 him. It's not precise measurements because I did it by hand. It took me 4 days. It has frets and strings and a strap. And it's about 1/2" thick. I have about 33 raindrops that go with it. When U see it, U would believe that it would make a nice display at the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. This Guitar says, "Purple Rain." cool

My Love is 30 years. I've lived two ten year marriages with two different men. The first I was too young, we were just friends that had 3 children. The second marriage I fell in love with my male nurse when I went 100 feet off a cliff on a motorcycle, and broke my neck. Must have been the demerol...because he turned out to be a jerk. cool

One more thing about the guitar that I made for Prince. It isn't a perfect identical match to Prince's White Cloud. I put my heart into it. It's a decoration for the wall. I've got seven Purple raindrops around it.

So all that Prince has to be afraid of is getting a guitar that I made him when Prince comes. And I don't think Prince would throw it in the trash. cool

I know I said I wasn't going to make any more remarks, but I have to ask...

1) Did your marriages fail because the men got tired of competing with your obsession for Prince?

2) Why would you think RRHOF would want a random cloth guitar that someone not famous made?

3) What do you look like? It's no secret Prince has a "type" lurking

4) What makes you think YOU are Prince's biggest fan? Maybe there's some chick somewhere who thinks she's a BIGGER fan than you... wanting to marry him doesn't necessarily qualify:
Maybe
- traveling all over the world to see his shows is...
- collecting every single recording, video, teeshirt, newspaper clipping, magazine, etc. is...
- or whatever other criteria people come up with. hmmm

Just askin'. biggrin
