Stop giving me your wishlist? 5 wishes for Prince

5 things I wish Prince would do (that I could actually see happening);

1. Play "Computer Blue" live again.
2. Remaster/rerelease the back catalog.
3. Release DVD's of newer videos and tours.
4. Play a summer time show at the MN Twins new outdoor park.
5. Aide in assist in a new album by The Time.

What is your wishlist?

1. won't happen
2. won't happen
3. won't happen
4. might happen, but probably won't
5. doesn't need to happen. I'd like to hear The Time do their own thing w/o Prince.

1.) Become angry and start swearing again.

2.) Release a musically interesting, rock/indie style album (á la his cover of All Along The Watchtower/Best Of You) and promote it, push it on all ends so that it will get major radio play and all kinds of people (young and old, musicians and little stupid girls, ...) think it's cool.

3.) Tour for that album and play 80% of the album's songs live (with Michael B, Sonny T, Tommy Barbarella, Mr Hayes and Levi Seacer), don't play any hits from the 80's, perform songs like Joy In Repetition, The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker, Computer Blue, Anotherloveholenyohead and America. The rest of the setlist should consist of songs from prince, Come, The Gold Experience, Exodus, Chaos And Disorder and Emancipation.

I'll stop here. If anything happens from the wishes I listed above, I'll be a happy motherfucker for the rest of the next 5 years or so.

Thanks!

OK, I'll go...

(not in any particular order)

1) Keep on recording whatever U want.
2) Release it.
3) I'd like 2 see U live again... keeping with just U on guitar, no backup guitarist. Grab the Bass once or twice.
4) Be healthy, stay wise.
5) Release live concerts on DVD... recent or past. Recent preferred.

datdude

i hate threads like this normally, but i really liked your wish list skywalker.
mine would be similar.

1) Release DVDs of 21 Nights, Musicology, Lovesexy, Tokyo, The Truth, various aftershows, the documentary from the D & P era (i think that's the era)
2) Release original configurations of albums like Camille, and Crystal Ball
3) Resume making 'ext'd versions & remixes
4) Make the NPGMC stuff commercially available for those of us who missed out
5) Tour (kick it off in Detroit; and make it his best, quirky show yet with a great set design, guest appearances from past affiliates and make it a NO HITS affair)

1. Release EVERYTHING. Every whistle, sniff and fart.
2. PLAY EVERYTHING live EVERYWHERE for everyone, for FREE.
3. Go back in time and become young again and invite every band member ever to be in the band and play forever.
4. Keep us all in a time loop paradox so we experience all of this over and over again for infinity.
5. Get me back home in time for tea by way of a Lovesexy-themed steamboat.

I think it's totally attainable, and we should expect nothing less.
