Truly! I remember, at 17, thinking, "I have 'til I'm 20 to get my first album out, just like Prince. No problem!". And at 20, thinking, "Damn, I missed it! Still, I'm young, and having a first album out at 20 is highly unusual, anyway!" At the age I am now, Prince was releasing Chaos and Disorder and Emancipation - and I still don't have a proper album out...  Hell yes, that's my life too

At my age Prince was lucky enough to 'celebrate' (or not!) his 'special birthday' along with Madonna and Michael Jackson - the three of them got a lot of press about the 'Big 50' - here in the UK anyhow.
I on the other hand, did not get a lot of press, but celebrated the fact that I was still alive for my 50th after being life threateningly ill earlier this year, and continued with my favourite hobby in life (yes it even takes precedence over my continuing facination with all things Prince), that hobby -being Granny to my two wonderful grandchildren. Being so sick really made me appreciate every day (corny I know), and each day, I give thanks for my 'normal' life, and am very grateful that I am loved, and can continue to give love to those in my life, whilst continuing to save a bit of that love for the man who's music has been the background to my adult life. So to conclude, I'm ALIVE!!!! | |

Since I just turned 31, Prince would be releasing Batman and working on Graffitti Bridge! (shutter)

----- At my age now. Prince was releasing/promoting DIRTY MIND. Right now I am putting my degree in media production to good use by directing a teen dance tv show in atlanta and putting my short films in film festivals. im 22 aha! alright all you old people lets get into it.
