Why post Prince old photo's????

Prince has taking very revealing photo's in the past...but this was his past....How do you think Prince would feel if he knew that his past revealing photo's were being posted on Prince.org? I think he would be embarrassed because he is know longer living this life style...Vanessa Williams and Latoya Jackson has taken pictures in the past that they regret...I don't think they would want this rubbed in their face.You and I may have done things in the past that we regret and we wouldn't want 2 be constantly exposed of our pass.How do you think Prince feel's about you posting some of his past photo's?

the pics posted aren't just his memories they are ours - we went to those shows stood in those lines camped out overnight drove 18hrs to be present and entertained - we forgot our electric bills - bought those magazines took hell and damnation being a prince fan...

I think he should get over it and embrace the image that made him a multi-millionaire.

Prince is an entertainer, musician - performer bottomline a product...and has been selling and marketing this brand for 34years to the masses, when he shows up at a fashion show, on stage in the studio etc etc he EXPECTS to be seen and to have the media and the world "fawn" all over that skinny MF with the High VOICE...
i think most of us can respect the "man" and the entertainer however they are two seperate entities livin in the same body.. without his past - he has no future for on the reputation of yesterday is the legacy that continues to support him in the lifestyle that he has become accustomed to..

Nothing as revealing as Latoya or Vanessa, and Vanessa didn't take those pictures to use to promote her music career, Latoya had no career, she took those pictures to try to get one.

Prince's pictures can hardly be compared. and if he has a problem then he needs to get over it, that's a part of life, he had a body he didn't mind showing off, so what, people wear briefs to the beach...

My 1st prince concert 1985 - camped out 12 hrs at the Nassau Coliseum, LI. Yeah...the ride has been sweet. Prince photos are eyecandy.

1. For the 100th time this is an independently owned fansite. Ben Margolis is the one who establishes the rules, not Prince. I believe the criteria is whether or not P owns the copyright for the pic or if it's in the public domain through fair use laws. If you don't like his rules you are free to start your own site and establish your own rules.

2. Thousands of media outlets publish old photos of Prince, (mtv, vh1, Rolling Stone, etc)...do you intend to petition them too?

3. Prince has also recorded songs with some very risque lyrics...what do you propose we do about those songs?

4. Prince is a professional entertainer and a grown man who makes his own choices in life and lives with the consequences thereof just like the rest of us. He's been managing his career just fine for over 30 years without your help and he's done quite well.

5. Unless you know Prince and he has spoken to you about the subject, your speculation about what does or does not embarass him or what he does and does not regret is baseless. I haven't seen a single word written or spoken by Prince expressing any such regret. As far as we know, when Prince finds a certain image objectionable for whatever reason he or his representatives communicate his concerns privately. That is as it should be.

So as you can see, there's really no need for you to concern yourself.
