That's a big waste of money. You're paying for a fancy box and 40 minutes of video.

This is not a good time to release it considering MJ passed and his film is to be released in Oct and his Opus in December. Two stars two worlds apart. These books are a bit pricey for me. I'd rather buy music razz

How does the music part work? I saw the MJ Opus promo on CNN, but the guy showed the music part for 5 seconds, complaining he didn't want to dance so went back to the book park. I don't get it.... eek

It's a book and you hold it up to the video and it remotely plays a dvd????

On the opus website i read:
Each Opus comes with a customised iPod Touch containing an exclusive 40-minute movie made by Prince of his 21 Nights at the O2 Arena plus a compilation of raw, live and after-show songs.

Exactly. He promised big things for $77, and look how those people got fucked dry. Imagine how he'd make you bleed out of the ass for $2500. It's a fancy case, an iPod, and 40 minutes of video (from a concert tour that had 21 dates and where the shows averages 2 hours??? REALLY PRINCE??? REALLY??) No 40 minute video is worth that, unless it's the unedited video of the creation of the world.

I love Prince, but he will never learn how to really give his fans the things they desire. And it's not about emptying the vault or something. Just release a DVD of a tour. Not some hand held bullshit edited by Sam Jennings or whoever, that isn't even the whole show. (Aladdin) No....release a whole concert, with some backstage footage, some interview. Not some "end of the year" party where the audience looks bored to death because you took 2 hours between sets to appear out of your fucking powder room primping like a bitch to perform a GCS medley. (Rave Un2) No. Release a whole concert, front to back. Make a deal with Coachella, or Montreaux Jazz, or wherever you play and just RELEASE IT BOY! I'd pay $20 a pop every time for a DVD, or CD/DVD set of a REAL show. Go watch everything on the Justin Timberlake FutureSexLoveShow DVD set. Interviews w/ Justin and the band, the show, behind the scenes (or in this case, under the stage) footage as the show happened, then the cameras followed him from the stage all the way to the dressing room, and still had more footage after that. The 2nd DVD was full of stuff too. Just an example of what an artist CAN do for their fans, when they realize how much their fans have helped make their career, and pad their wallets.

Prince is so fucking scared of being bootlegged (get past it, you can't stop it), that he has locked down EVERYTHING. And when he doesn't.....he charges everyday Americans who are barely keeping a roof over their heads and a car key in their pocket $2,500 for some bullshit iPod. What happens when you sync the iPod? Is the video gone? Because there goes your $2500, right through your USB cord. Hear that laughing? That'd be Prince as he strolls to Bank of America.
