Hip Hop N More confirms that 'Better with Time' is the next single.
It officially goes for adds next week, 24th August to be precise.

Thanks to the blog which takes keen interest in Prince and also is refreshingly accurate in its reports without relying on hype or controversy.

It's a very pretty song, I think it will do well.

The song will do well on RnB stations. The ingnorance some of you have about RnB music is amazing to me.

My thing is I want Prince to release songs that will grab EVERYONE, not just one segment of people. BWT is not a bad song but it won't grab the kids or some adults, even on the R&B stations. He needs to release "Dance 4 Me" or "Here". Those songs are smash hits waiting to happen cause they will grab everyone by the balls. Plus he needs to stop focusing primarily on the R&B stations. He needs to bet back on the Pop stations and I won't buy that he can't get new music played there. He needs the right people around to push these songs, but of course Prince won't get the right people around him. I just don't get him when it comes to him and these single choices.

With his falsetto voice in that song, it reminds me of back in the day when the Delfonics, Stylistics and Smokey sang those types of songs. I hope they play it on 98.7kiss FM in NYC. They usually play Prince songs like "Adore", "How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore" and others, so that song would definitely fit right in. Guess I'll go listen to it right now on my mp3 player.

Not for nothing, you are right about one thing 2elijah. At least R&B stations still want his music and thank God for that. I hope it does extremely well there. I also hope we hear it all over 98.7 Kiss FM and WBLS. Maybe, just maybe, KTU will play it too. If they could play Call My Name, why not Better With Time? Fingers crossed and prayers go forth!

This is a HORRIBLE choice for a single in the US... nobody is going to like this song, it's gonna slip through the cracks like all of his other (bad) single choices.

You know, I actually haven't listened to 98.7kiss since early Spring 2008 during M-F, and I heard D.L. Hughley has a morning show there. I also, Jackie Reid is also on that station as well. Now I occasionally listen to that station on the weekends, off and on, and I do like that they play a lot of old school music. I have to check it out and see what's going on there. I had no idea they changed staff.

Unfortunately yes. Pop stations have no problem playing Madonna’s god awful music and she is 50 years old and looks it (LOL) I believe pop stations will still be playing Madonna’s music when she is 70 (LOL)

Sometimes you have to take the love where you can get it. In P’s case that would be RnB stations.

I've had 'Lotus' for months and I can't tell you how that song goes. I have no idea. It bored the heck out of me. I barely recall it at all. But good luck with the single anyway Prince!

Yes it is. It has that old school, ballad feel to it. It's fine that you don't agree, we're all free to express our opinions about it. It's no question "Dance4Me" is a good track for RnB, and I could see the remix doing even better on an RnB station, but BWT would do just fine on an RnB station, even if it is not your choice to be released as a single. Would be nice if both tracks were released as singles on RnB stations.
