For my 40th birthday, I had a "Prince Costume Party" 
The invitation stated that U had to be a character, song title, or someone associated with Prince. BUT NO ONE WAS ALLOWED TO BE PRINCE  (too easy!)
I was Sheila E.! 
I had: "Dorothy Parker", Larry Graham, "The Gold Experience", Vanity, 2 Jeromes, Dr. Fink, Mayte, Candy Dulfer, Apollonia... and a bunch of party poopers who refused to play along! 
I had one friend who was going to make "Purple Rain" by stringing purple raindrops from a purple umbrella, but she ended up having other plans... unique said: i presume this is my party?
