Dolphin appreciation/understanding. Clever guy, that Prince!

I've always loved Dolphin. It's one of those thought provoking songs.

I was just wondering though...

I took a dolphin and seal tour a few days ago, and dolphins naturally follow a power boat because they are sexually attracted to the vibration. Dolphins have sex at least 6 times per day. They are one of the few wild animals who have sex because they enjoy it, not just to pro-create.

I'm just wondering if Prince knows that, and if that's why he chose a "dolphin" to come back as, when he could have chosen any animal in the song.

He also used dolphin sounds in Animal Kingdom, when he could have used any animal.

Clever little guy that Prince. Always little inclusions and references that you have to investigate.
