Last Prince Cassette?

What was the last Prince album that was sold as a cassette? I saw a cassette for the Hits/ the Hits/BSides, but nothing after that.

I've seen cassette versions of Chaos and Disorder and Emancipation. I'm pretty sure those were the last album to be released on tape.

There's a cassette version of New Power Soul listed on Amazon. So apparently that was released on tape, too.

I had a cassette for 1999s Rave. I'm not 100% sure but I Think "The Vault" had a cassette release as well.

Hey!! When did "the war" come out?? I know it's not an album but I do believe it was the last official cassette release.

I have "The Vault", but I never got "New Power Soul" on cassette. Then I have "The War" and then "Jam of the Year/Face Down NYC Live 1/11/97".

I'd say the Jam of the Year/Face Down single would be, or "The War". Emancipation was on cassette, as was The Gold Experience, but never saw CHaos on cass.

Rave in on vinyl, but don't know about cassette.

I have it on cassette. Back then I bought everything on cassette if I could find it because my car didn't have a CD player.

Last album I bought on tape first was Chaos and Disorder, I don't have a tape player now, but keep a few Prince tapes in the car.
The last one I made was a 90 minute blank tape with Muiscology on side one and 3121 on side 2, mainly as I had a long drive and my old ass car only had a tape player and I didn't have an ipod yet. Served me well that tape. Made it in mid 2006 and it lasted to March 2008 when the tape got chewed by the 1980s tape player in my old ass car (1989 then)
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I love Prince cassettes here's some of mine.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Probably either the War or the Kamasutra.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

That's a great pic. I like seeing a couple of those rarer
ones in there like the DWD single & Eye Hate U single.
Also, what's that one in between the prince album & Come?
It's the only one I don't recognize. whofarted
