This is 4 Prince...and I thought I'd share it with U.




I’ve been on hold

Let me look into your eyes
As we close down the night
It won’t be long till morning comes,
And sleep will hold us side by side.
See the Horizon
That rests on my mind
A long distance call is tight on the line
Can U hear, “Hello” By ELO?

I’ve been on hold…
Holding the line.
My heart knew someday
I’d be looking in your eyes
It’s been a long time
You own my tears…
Now I’m all hung-up on
Holding you near
Holding you dear

Let me kiss your lips
There is an orchard in my heart
Let me give you just a sip
Of the wine I’ve made
While we have been so far apart
Taste the cherry grove,
And the blackberries from the vine
Peaches, Lemons, and the sweetest lime.

Sorry, start reading some good poetry and/or listen to music with great lyrics. Paul Simon, Dave Mustaine, Living Colour, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, that's a start.

Everytime I just start jotting things down...It's all thought on Prince, so even if a poem isn't all that great, it can just say in general that U are thinking of someone.
