This is an example of a poem that I will probably revise at some point. This particular style follows a rule that I created. It is called a "Stair Style." There are 4 flights. Each flight follows a syllabic rule of "2, 4, 6, 8, 10" I have not yet mastered my own idea. As U can gather, the 3rd stair does not follow a rhyme scheme, but it can.

The one thing that You realize in this life is without owning anything, without wearing anything, with good health or poor health, your spirit or your heart is going to go it's own way. I Love Prince and if being alone for the rest of my life is second to being married to Prince...I'll still be happy not settling for less anymore. I had two failed marriages...I'm going for Bliss or Lonely.

It is not very decent to introduce something as "Not very good," however since this is Prince related I will share this too.

I practice sometimes, and this is an example...I was merely dealing with the syllables and the rhyme...this only took about 15 minutes to write. All that I can say is that I believe given the right push and attention, it is a great exercise for a college poetry class. Not as difficult as a Sonnet or Villanelle, but harder than a Haiku.

A man
With a guitar
A sweet song in his heart
A very famous superstar
Been know to own a few little red cars

Is sharp
Just the right style
Some kind of New York mile
He'll call U don't bother to dial
It can cost U a fortune to reach his smile

A great English teacher taught me when it comes to self criticism, sometimes we can just say...."It just is what it is."

Not a poem....A song by Extreme...I just love the lyrics.....love is so many different things.....Prince is very very human...I feel he can also be considered "love". I felt it at my first Prince concert....We are all in his heart. Hang in there Tame.
