I Wouldn't Care About Seeing Prince Perform Now(that much)

Its no fun if hes not jumping off a piano,humping the ground to Darling Nikki,or climbing on 25 ft. speakers and jumping. But i will still go.

WHATEVER!!!! His One Night Alone tour, when he was just sitting at the piano and playing to the crowd, it was so intimate and personal.....and I loved it!! The smaller venue helped with the effect, and that is one concert I would not have traded for the world. He is a truely brilliant performer, it doesn't matter to me if he is dancing all over the stage, or sitting on a chair playing acustic. I WILL NOT miss a chance of seeing him live again.

..i wouldn't object to seeing him live..but i just want it to be me..prince..and his piano..

It's simply about the music. All that other stuff isn't important. That's never been what Prince has been about. I could care less if he does the "Detroit crawl", the splits, or any of that other stuff. He's still better than any other live act. The only reason I'd stop attending his concerts is if he starts to lip sync. And we know that aint gonna happen

No fun? God you're so stupid. Prince is still phenomenal live and he doesn't need those gimmicks that you described in order to put on a great show. If you're only seeing an artist because they jump off speakers and hump the ground then you need a psychiatric evaluation, my friend.

I see what you're saying here. Unfortunately, I was not born in the right year and I have never been to a Prince show. (I'm only turning 19 in September.) I think that all that raunchiness and craziness was so fun and sexy and made Prince Prince, and it's a shame that I am unable to see the shows like they used to be. I am reduced to watching them on a screen and it's kind of depressing. Actually it's really depressing. But seeing Prince period would be a dream come true, no matter what he's doing. If the man stood on a stage and stared at the crowd for an hour I would be elated. He's such a force, that any performance is a gift.
