Question about Prince's Lawsuit History

A friend of mine asked me this and I couldn't answer it. He claims that Prince was sued a few years ago (about 5 or so years ago) for some song lyrics. Supposedly, the song caused someone to commit a crime and the family sued him over the lyrical content. Do you guys know anything about this? Also, what song was it?

They passed out drinking and "Jughead" got stuck on a loop. When they woke up, they couldn't get the song out of their head, and shot themselves on the lawn of Paisley Park. "The Egg" is just a cover for the blood splatter.

Maybe your friend mixed up Prince and Judas Priest.

I highly doubt it. I told him I knew about him being sued for TMBGITW recently, but that's it. The rest of the lawsuits have been of him suing fans.

I just can't understand why Prince sues the fans. I mean the fans are the guys who pays for his fancy shoes and his big house and the dye the keeps his hair black.

That's biting the goddamned hand that feeds you. eek

I always consider fanship of Prince to be like an Ike/Tina realtionship. He keeps beating the hell out of the fans and we come back.

I just remember watching Tina beat the living daylights out of Ike with a high heeled shoe. And I just wonder if the tide will ever turn and if a fan will sue Princey.

I'd like to sit Prince down in a booster seat and ask him why he's like that. I mean I understand that the man wants his privacy and all that, but he is a PUBLIC FIGURE.
If he goes out, someone will take his picture. Someone will want to shake his hand,it goes with the territory.
You Google him hard enough you can find just about anything you want on him.
If he didn't want the notoriety, he shouldn't have let Warner Bros. sign him back in the 70s.
It's needless.

the satanic backmasking message on Darling Nikki made someone crazy for like 30 minutes in which time he proceded to carve a backwards 3121 in his forehead and discover his feminine side, which unfortunately freaked out his fiance who broke off the marriage. When the guy came back to his senses he was devastated so he filled a lawsuit againt Prince, but Prince settled the matter out of court
Change it one more time..
