Tora Tora is a japanese warcry, Prince used this name (alter ego) for his album (the NPG: Exodus) released in march (?) 1995, while he was touring with The Gold Experience/ Ultimate live Tour 1995. I guess Prince used this name in his fight with Warner Bros. They owned his name (and his face?), therefor Prince was using a disquise, covering his face.... and using "Tora Tora" instead of "Prince", he gave a rather bizarre interview to the BBC, dressed as Tora Tora with his face covered and whispering to Mayte who then told the host Veronica Webb what was said, The Gold Experience, his first album as  was finally released in september 1995, more than 2 years after the name change, and a half year after the Gold tour...
