101 WORST MISTAKES MADE BY PRINCE

Alright all you purple junkies don't get your jock straps and brassiers in a knot. This is not a diss thread but merely an acknowledgement of where our beloved Prince has gone off what appeared to be a gold paved path of success. In other words...name some shit Prince did that made you go "What's wrong with this mutherfucker??"

#7-'Jehova'...nuff said.
#8-'Larry'....'GACK!'
#9-'Retired his hits', 'plays his hits', 'retires again his hits',..then plays them again!

#11-Eliminated foul language from his music
#12-Takes entire control of his creative projects and gets overwhelmed.

The song Graffiti Bridge... let alone the movie... that stunk so bad I'd have to say I haven't quite got the shit of it out of the cracks of my shoes yet!

-His departure from The Revolution wasn't the mistake,,,it was surrounding himself with those opportunist "yes men" that was the mistake.

-That "Rap" period

-And finally, equating musical success to $ which brought him to thise sad state.

*Deciding that he was capable of directing movies

*Paisley Park Records---the label started off promisingly,with great records by The Family,Mazarati and Sheila E,but things quickly went downhill when the label started releasing crap like Carmen Elektra,Good Question and TC Ellis.Was anyone truly surprised when Warners shut down the label in 1994?

*Not bringing his SOTT tour to the States---huge blunder.

now, hang on... UTCM holds together as a film. There are a few editing errors, but the sequencing of the mpvie is very good. As an editor and a director as far as story is concerned, Prince works... he is not, however, a person who can direct people... hence the horrific moments in UTCM... BUT without his 'feel' for the film, we wouldn't have had some of the film's most memorable moments... 'mirror mirror seventeen-fold'... 'give her that bela lugosi look'... 'hmmm, now you've been thinking of that all night'... aw.... you know the bits i mean!

better yet if it was made and released the day after his RRHOF performance.

Come On Desiree...Even if Prince has made career mistakes according to his followers does not mean that Prince has left any "Golden Path." Prince has been keepin' on his way and that is still gold and silver lined.
