In an issue of Rolling Stone , sometime in the 1990s Mick Jagger was interviewed and asked about Prince and his competition and said that he had nothing to worry about as far as what was around at the time. He then went on to say that he had "out performed himself."

I'm going just from memory here and perhaps I'm even slightly off topic but, does anyone remember this article or, what I'm getting at?

Are you getting at the possiblity that everything Prince could do he has done? I would disagree with you if that's what you meant.

Of course for all we know, Prince doesn't want to do anything. Perhaps he has bored himself rather than outperformed himself. Alexander wept when there were no more worlds to conquer.
