Hi My Fellow Purple Funkateers!

Earlier tonight, I came on quite a delima. You see, over dinner, my friends and I were discussing Prince and as we spoke of him, I noticed something. Everything we came up with was a talent he had.

Wheter it was playing a Hohner to death, singing beautifully or being the most stylish man in America, everything was a talent. When I brought up the fact we had discussed his qualities, all of us sat there, speechless for a good ten minutes trying to think up something.

Alas, we turned nothing!

Now there's a bumping fanbase out there. I know that one of you, has to know something. And please tell me, so that I can know!

He's courageous for one thing, I feel.

And a genuine heart, and generous and humble.

I think you have to know someone personally before you can accurately describe their qualities; but as someone who has observed Prince over the last 3 decades, I'd say he is obviously very intelligent, seems honest and sincere, has an intense love for God and is faithful, and is (now) possessing integrity and peace of mind.

He's an ardent worker.

He is a go getter, achiever, and a trend-setter. To use his words "I Am The Touch". Most of all, I admire him for staying true to his own course both professionally and religously.

I have to wonder about just how profound this conversation was that you had. Remember in the Oprah interview, when she asked, "what do you most want fans to know about you?" and he answered, "the music." The answer to your question lies precisely there.

Prince's vehicle for expression is his music, which includes his lyrics (indicating his honesty), the music (indicating that he is experiemental), and his inclusion of members of all races, creeds, and sexual orientations (indicating his desire to be realistic.)

It may be that he has shown his flaws more than he used to, but that may also mean that he is more comfortable with people knowing this about him. He has also admitted in the past that he has a huge ego - this would indicate his comfort level with himself, as well as honesty, and even unabashedness.
