Once again his 'EGO' ruined another promising project.

Bottomline, he wont ever learn...he doesnt care for music executives nor
the music 'biz'...

But then 'attempts' at mimicing the same misfortunes of what he does'nt care for.

If he was smart he should have released three cds. 1-at target 1-on iTunes and another 1-at his online website. Spreading the cd's over three different locations and he probably would have had at least 1 #1 record for that week.
I would have left off the Bria CD in its entirety,...he easily could have had a triple release CD.....

Anyways...he didnt and he's #2...hope he learns next time?

GMAN

RUBBISH he's not number 1 for one reason only from hearing this CD in full this weekend ...Radio does not play Prince...because the radio is owned by record companies...all over the world... biggrin

Good point actually
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

this gonna sound foolish.. but Bruce and U2 have more "white fans" and they are more white people in the usa?????

You're right, it does sound foolish. There are way more white people than black at Prince shows.

so bruce and u2 have more fans= #1?

1. Because, even in the 80's, Prince has rarely "sold" as well as U2 or Springsteen.

2. Because after 30+ years Prince is finally being acknowledged as and "all time great" by the masses, but is still not as mainstream or easily digested as Bruce or U2.

true, but would Prince have it any other way, he loves to suffer, to be a successful disaster, to simply prove, if you want to, you can cool
