Well, I know why I buy 2 copies...I'm a Prince music collector. Once something is opened, it's no longer considered a collectable so I get 2. I buy one copy of the CD to actually open and be a part of my regular music rotation, the other to be a part of my Prince collection. I started collecting around Musicology time when I received about 7 Musicology albums from going to his concerts. I also collect certain memorabillia like T-Shirts, Incense, Perfume etc.

Well, I bought 2 yesterday. One for me and one for a pal at work who's always hooking me up with cds, (he moonlights at a radio station).

When I gave it to him today, another coworker kept asking about it so I gave him mine.

At lunch I went to get myself another cd since Target is just a couple blocks from work. I ended up getting an extra one for another coworker who likes Prince because he helped me when my car battery died last week.

was in the mall earlier and ventured all the way to check out the princey displays at target (i've had the cd since it came out ). i wanted to get a few more copies for no reason, but restrained myself . it's such a cute little package and for so cheap

Well, the student that works at Target informed me on Thursday that the rectangular display was coming down Friday and he had secured it for me. The flower-shaped one is staying up a little longer.

I have never understood what people do with these displays. I can see how a movie poster could be cool...but where the heck do you put a 3-D display. Do you...like...put it up in your living room? Do you put it into storage, hoping it will become valuable one day?
