But that is neither here nor there in this case, because I live down the street from a Target store.  yeah, i've ordered from amazon for years and i've never had a problem with them. even when i've gotten damaged goods, i've had no problem returning the items and getting my money back quickly, or getting a replacement in no time flat. I haven't had any issue with Amazon. In fact, I highly recommend them. When I was in the Marines stationed in Iraq, I orderded some musici & movies from Amazon and low and behold, I got it, even in the middle of a war zone. Whether abroad or in the states, they've been good to me. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

British guy here:
Has anyone heard anything about international (i.e. non-US) distribution for this yet? Why make a big thing of how much he loves London and then not let us Brits (and everyone else) get a copy? Surely he must have some plan??? Anyway, if any of you beautiful Yanks are willing to pick me up a copy I shall send you the appropriate funds for purchase/mileage/postage etc.!!!

He likely had an arrangement with Target to limit pre-ordering options so that the traffick will go to Target as part of their agreement for promoting it. Int'l options will probably be up a little after the US release date. At least thats my guess. Change it one more time.. | |

That depends on the scope of the problem.
If P asked them to ship internationallty but Target declined and instead offered him a nicer cut of the profit, who's problem is it? Or what if P explicitly asked for a USA-only release and Target said: 'But what about our profit we lose for not shipping internatioonally as well?'? Hmm? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... Prince only wanted a deal with Target ... and Target happens notto ship internationally.. and why would they adjusttheir policy for a few hundreds international orders ?? I just canceled my order. I don't want to wait the extra day or two before I get the album. I am gonna have to camp Target and get it at midnight!

www.amazon.co.uk do not even have a listing for it anymore, so why then do we in the uk have to pay £29.99 ($44 according currency converter on igoogle) when US get it for $12.98? hmv are the only ones who have it listed, not even on play.com!
