Unless you want the CD for the cover art why not wait until it's released on the website? If the site costs $77.00 and the download is included in the price makes sense to wait and see.

Back in the old days, when a release like one of Prince's was announced a few weeks, months ahead, one knew that one could just go to the local wrecka stow on the day of release and get the LP/CD.
Of course times have changed.
Music has become a throwaway item.

What use do mp3's have? I want a storage medium and CD-r's are no good.
A booklet (even a tiny one) would help as well.

So just make it that I can order that CD in Europe.
And TELL ME so.
Because this half announcement 'you can get it at target' is a big failure.
I think we can assume that mr P knows that the world is bigger than just the USA. So why would his things go this way?
Let's wait for a good explanation.

Alyone with a E-bay account would be able to by the cds, and sell them with a little proffit there (imagine the amount of europe fans).... perhaps Prince and co would wake up, and give us info and more access then... But again, we might be surprised

Ok, so let me get this straight. $11.98 for ALL 3 CDs? Not each one, on it's own for $11.98? There isn't going to be some "deluxe edition" thing coming out right after this - is there? I hate buying a new release and then a few months later, find there is an import or expanded version that's better.
