I'm diggin "Chocolate Box", it's so catchy. I hope he puts this on one of his albums that is supposed to be released this year.

For me, this is a definite wait-and-see situation. The snippet doesn't really grab me as a hook (and the lyrics aren't so hot either), but if it goes somewhere interesting, could be good.

"Colonized Mind" is STILL the best track so far.

The only album that has any chance of finding a audience willing to pay for the download is LotusFlow3r. That is very limited as well due to the fact that alot of people are going to have to give Prince a chance that haven't before. But anyone who puts any promoting money or marketing time into MPLSound and Elixir is going to be frustrated there is nothing at all to push these at any interesting angle.

There is no easy way to say this but Prince can't connect with an audience anymore via the record buying public. His proteges are soundclick production sounding examples. If it doesn't look authentic, it won't get any burn.

Prince still doesn't get it. It's not enough to just put together the records you need to connect with the audience and convince them of buying it. If you hesitate in any way, these people will shut the door on you. People have already shut the door on Prince regarding these projects. This reminds me of the bad idea of selling three cd's at once with Larry and CHaka and NPS.
It's looking desperate for Prince to put 3 out at once and to put out a staged protege and try to mask it as "This is a record we wished Sade would make"
It's kind of sad like "Please buy me because Im back" It's not enough Prince.

First, You have not even heard the entire album...none of them.. So for you to conclude that the albums are like Rave or any other album, is not a solid judgement.
Second, Prince, IS Prince. Plain and simple. Who he IS today, does NOT have to be who he WAS then for the music to be GOOD.
And, "Please buy me beacuse I am back?" He has never gone anywhere. He has been exploring and playing with different music for awhile.

Just when you thought There Will Never Be Another Like Me was a clunker, he previews what has got to be the most laughable, trend chasing thirty seconds of music imaginable. By god, what a terrible, embarrassing song Box of Chocolates is. And don't tell me how it's 'only thirty seconds,' etc, it's not redeemable after that pathetic opening.

- Linn sound to get a Pavlovian reaction from the drooling fams: Check

The man is closer to 60 than 30 and he's still singing lyrics like he's 20. Someone needs to tell Prince that he's not Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. Hell, they've probably even graduated past tripe like this by now.

And what is there to say about the dreck that is All My Love? My god. An easy listening disaster.
