But, from what I can hear of Chocolate Box - I sorta hate the T-Pain vocoder bullcrap he's doing :\ SOOOO unnecessary for a singer with Prince's range. really, it's just dumb.

Chocolate Box: what a fucking ...well.. horrible song.

I mean: the music sounds like Prince released some CD full of samples of synthsounds and drumtracks of earlier tracks, and some artistically veryungifted 'fan' decided to combine those samples in a very clumsily way.

The same thought (but to a lesser extent) i had with 'Nodoby like me'.

If this is how the entire MPLsound album will sound, then it will be not even on par with Rave, and probably not even with the The Slaughterhouse / Chocolate Invasion albums. I mean: those last two albums mostly did sound plastic and uninspired too, but at least Prince did program new drummachine patterns...

glad it's official now that q-tip is on one of the track since
i can actually hear him at the intro "with the drums"

if i want anyone rapping on a prince album it's q-tip

the bria valente song keeps reminding me of ingrid chavez for
some strange reason. must be the vocals because the rest of it
reminds me very much of an update of the funky late 1992 NPG
sound that he had going on kind of round the time of GoldNigga

colonized mind sounds deeper and clearer than the radio rip
great song too.

release those albums prince, don't keep me waiting another 14 days

Where are you hearing Q-Tip? He's definitely not saying "Where da drums?" (which is the correct lyric). I don't hear Q at all on this record. At least not in this snippet.
