 Same here...I had originally ordered from Amazon...MISTAKE  ...I cancelled Amazon very quickly and I just ordered mine from Barnes and Nobles and it is currently being shipped to me...

I ordered mine quite late. Late August I think. I had that same e mail yesterday saying they were still trying to 'obtain' it. Then I had a phone call at work today saying 'I've got some really bad news for you. Your book has just arrived'! My sister ordered hers months ago and is still waiting. Ha ha, never mind sis!! First impressions, love it but need to look more closely and read it all too. I know I hold you too tight, but I just can't seem to get close enough | |

I would say though as a minor comfort, as I understand the term 'first edition' it means first print run. As this is a mass produced book, I would assume the first print run happened a long time ago... and probably not in the UK. | |
