I have to agree with prince on one thing hes pushed the boundaries with the lyrics and music that people can only follow or try to follow, ive seen pictures of madonna on her latest tour and it does not look right a 50 year old gyrating and stimulating sex on stage

As much as I hate to admit it...Prince's original demographic has grown up. Like he said "with kids". And to his benefit (and our of course) that demographic is one of the largest in history. I so dug his warm-up looking outfits he wore during Musicology and did his James Brown "Slide"(that's what I call it anyway). He looked like a kid and so comfortable and happy...then he wore a suit and was all grown up. He's looking at a TON of money if we hang with him and of course he can hang with us. not to mention our kids...smart smart man...

That is a common way of looking at things from my friends that are very heavy into any religion. "My faith made me do it" or gets credit for practically everything in their lives.

It tends to scare me a bit in the fact that we all need to try and take the credit along with the responsibility for our lives and actions, and not deflect too much on to something or someone else as to the reason for doing really anything. You ultimately make the choice for change in your life by whatever means.

As for...

No, you don't have to do anything Prince you choose to do that. And I'm not sure if he's all that clear on (their/our) consciousness is.....I think he's again talking about his own consciousness.....Prince's new consciousness....
