I posted them as an illustration of the kinds of songs that have the right sort of energy for a runway show. Others were posting things that were very down-tempo and, dare I say, boring.

Well, I must have listened to at least 100 songs on Youtube to get this certain "fashion" feeling but I find it very difficult to find something that fits a show. LOL

For another Prince song I thought about Controversy and to be honest I like your choise of Let's work a lot. Maybe even more than Come. YES!!

By the way they don't kiss usually in Indian movies, they are changing that to now just pecking no tongue (like someone we know ),
that is the display behind the yellow umbrellas (we need to use our imagination). Some people should not be allowed to make movies...

I am using a Urban Desi Reggae Song Ash King with R Kelly (he's on my top friend myspace profile). I like it and the Indian mix in the song brings back some good memories.

About this song, I like the music, get this calm feeling of it but the vid is silly, though the stupid part is that they can dance but don't know the correct dance moves, hey, sounds (again) like someone we know long time ago
Thing is I imagine all these girls swirling on the catwalk with this song playing loud in the back, I thought it was suited, at least, I get visuals and they seemed fashionable The designs that are under my label are quite different from india-art-auction. ie. they are not ethnic but use some ethnic details.. you'll see.
I heard your songs and they are cool, still hope your DJ makes them fade into eachother, the first transition sounds abrupt. I think this is because you know the songs... but for someone sitting at the show who are non-Prince fans it sounds OK. It is not perfect...However I can't use a fader because I want the songs to be continous. I don't know how to work this. I will ask the DJ.
