I can't believe you doubt my sincerity in Young Gotti. Do I need to show you my Pure Cocaine Tat' merged with Prince and his Purple Rain Era caricature? I don't know if I can it's pretty sacred.

Oh, I have to listen again to this greatness. I feel like Young Gotti has achieved something that no one has done. He turned a epic standard Purple Rain into a hood anthem. Please believe it!

Wow, (puts away Prince cd's for good and Crazy Glues a CDR with Pure Cocaine to the cdplayer)

The DJ just gives me goosebumps when he yells over those PR imitation guitar strums. It's like he knows that a classic has been born.

I have to say it again because it's true. This is a lost storyline to a BOONDOCKS episode. It really really is.

P.S It's missing the guitar solo that he could do ala Tpain style

falloff I mean, yes this is obviously horrible and a desecration to Prince's greatest work. But I just couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the song. lol

My purple hero has every right to sic his lawyers on this junkie ass nucca and get every penny. I believe he said in that interview with Chris Rock back in 1997 that he doesn't want his music used by rappers to glorify their negativity.

When did you get your law degree eek

I didn't. I am telling you the reality of it all. No one is going to bring attention to someone with a mix cd. Who the hell would waste their time and energy on something so obviously already circulated? I can probably find over a dozen Prince Rip off's on assorted mix cd's from the south and west coast. Even if they are making money off their mix cd's? You better believe it. No one is going to spend the time on this. This CD will continue to have Pure Cocaine on it and the RIAA/ will pretend it doesn't exist. And why is that? Because it's too much paperwork to track down regional artists and have them "Follow" Copyright law.

In essence, all of this is a fraud just for the lawyers and legal counsel to look tough on copyright infringement. They arent going to do shit. All they do is watch the clock and stack checks. And Yo Gotti is going to continue getting his check from Inevitable records.

That's why the people will always win and RIAA will always lose in the end. As predicted... It's a classic "We told you so" moment.

Seriously, where is Prince going to be on this? Nowhere.. unless you want to take the other mix cd artists to court. Does Prince's legal team want to do that? I don't think so. That's alot of paperwork and it's going to take up alot of time for being on the golf course.

I can't believe it! There's just so much positivity in the drug trade. Oh, I have to listen to this song again before I go to work.

I would love to show the reaction on so many fans faces when they hit play. It must be emotional holocaust going inside. You know what really surprised me? That prince fans haven't flooded the boards with the torches and the villager mob to burn the witches.

But seriously how angry do you think Prince is? Do you think someone emailed Prince to show him what someone had the audacity to do? It was only a matter of time. Did you hear the girl in the beginning? Oh Man... You just can't say anything. You just have to listen with your mouth open.

You know when something so horrible passes the toxicity and you just can't help but say you can't parody this. This would be THAT parody. Thats how I feel with a song like this. That takes a rare talent when you listen to Purple Rain to come up with Pure Cocaine. To do the power ballad and to reinterpet into this? This tops the Kid Rock song with the music rip offs from Warren Zevon and Sweet Home Alabama.

I'd say you are wrong on that one. I have been a name stay on NPGMC,Housequake and I have a namestay on this site (infrequently) usually in the music board I comment. I dont need a alias. Why would I have the same name on Housequake? Oh wai a minute what's that sound ?I think it's the house of cards. But you get a e for effort and a golfclap. clapping clapping

I may post controversial topics or topics designed to see if what the reaction will be. But I think every message board thrives like that. And it's all over this board and others as well. But then you have to ask yourself, the people have the choice to post or not. But Flowerz, people will always comment on something that they passionately despise. Thats the nature of discussion on message boards. Now, did the people have the choice to comment or not? Hell Yea they did. But we are attracted to the things we hate. It is what it is.

\

But back to this song, the piece de resistance is the girl in the beginning saying "You know this is my shit, right?" That and the chorus CLASSSSSHIC

The youtube video of someone playing this for Prince and what if that person was excited to play it for him. Can you imagine what the assistant would get? What if someone How Young Gotti ended up on the BET awards and he heard Prince was in the audience. Can you imagine the reaction?

I bet you Yogotti would walk up to Prince and tell him about Pure Cocaine without any hesitation if he saw him in a club. OR...he would askt he dj to play it.I bet you Yogotti believes in his heart this is a tribute. And as he should, what a ingenious soul stirring rendition for our trying times. Indeed.

May you continue YoGotti with your reinterpetations of Prince Classics for all of us here at the org to immerse ourselves in the Urbane melodic magic that is YoGotti. Gucci Mane, may you be the Morris Day to His Prince.

You said no one was going to bother to sue. I showed you someone went one step futher and arrested a DJ. Therefore, if this DJ was arrested what makes you think these ass clowns cannot be sued. Anyone can be sued over just about anything. It does not mean they are going to be successful but they can sue. Nine times out of ten the idea is to put the person being sued thought so much financial pressure that the settle of court or just stop doing what they are doing. I know this is a hard concept for you to grasp as well as many orgers since they actually think that P has sued his fans when all he has done is send cease and desist letters.

As far as what happend to him my guess is he had to pay some sort of fine and will keep his mixtapes on the downlow unless he likes posting bond and paying fines.

I will not even go into what will happen if the IRS gets interested in what he is doing.

I fell off my chair when I heard this, it was just so majestic. There is something about hearing someone poetically rhyme about moving weight and the hardships of distributing Pure Cocaine to the swan song that is Purple Rain. I feel their pain. Have you ever tried to get Cat Food at a Warehouse? Those bags are really heavy. Imagine how heavy all that cocaine is!! I would imagine that a bag of 20 lb catfood does not compete with all the Pure cocaine in their trunks of their whips. But the catfood bag is pretty big.

I bet you Pablo Escobar is crying tears of joy in the afterlife that his vision still lives on in the streets of america. And that is what it's about, isn't it? Carrying a dream of distributing a highly addictive destructive substance into every channel and avenue of the face of the world merging it with the hymn of the eighties his royal majesty "Purple Rain"? That tears it. They are going to have to play Pure Cocaine in the Churches. I am starting to tear up just thinking about the possibilities.

Pablo I lit a candle for you and Prince.

pray
