The piano instrumental version of "An Honest Man" at the beginning. I would love to have a good quality recording of that. What a beautiful song. Unfortunately there is narration over alot of it in the movie, that at the rediculous hat/wrap/lampshade/whatever it is he's got on his head during this piano perofrmance.

eek struggling not to end up writing a ton of parts*

The whole "Don't Call Me Baby" scene is my favorite. It reminds me personally of some of the times my boyfriend decides to mess with me while I'm on the phone. I actually sorta yelled at him like Mary does in the movie. That fool of mine just laughed his head off. lol

The End part was the best actually.

I thought there was another thread exactly like this one. I thought I was suffering from Groundhog day or some shit like that.

When I stated earlier that the best part of the film is when the cridits started running, I guess that's a bit harsh. The film is o.k. actually. It's not as bad as people say it is nor is it as good as people say it is either. More than anything, this film showcases Prince's humor. I like the scene wher prince is walking from the car to the phone booth. While Prince is walking, he's imititating Mary, but he's saying it in a deep voice. "Shut up...."Shut up". Then he starts laughing to himself. I always liked that little part where it shows that Prince is enjoying himself alone.

here's a simple tip to make the movie something everyone can enjoy. Do what I do... keep everything but when CT gets shot, cut out everything from Jerome's awful scene through Tracy speaking to Marie as he dies. Simply pick up when father arrives. the burn it to DVD. I have shown this version to many a non-prince fan and they unanamoiusly love it. Then I take the deleted scenes and placed them at the end like a director's cut.

From my experience people feel sad when he dies (they get the picture when they are reading the letter). But ad that death scene in and they think its stupid.

All in all its a cute movie and shows a funny Prince that sort of pokes fun at himself.
I may have the jelly 4 ur peanut butta but u got 31 hours and 21 minutes left.
