I just brought "Diamonds and Pearls" DVD

It was my first time watching it last night and I didn't know Cream was such a long video. I hated the long and boring stuff. I did notice how Prince had the same outfits for the whole dvd - all his videos. I also noticed how every single person wore black and white in all the videos too. It surprised me b/c my wedding's theme is Diamonds and Pearls and the colors are black and white too! What do you think of the DVD?
Um... let me warm up my vocals

The transfer quality is horrible, but at least will last longer than my VHS.

The video itself is, well... okay....

Insatiable and D&P videos are boring, I love Call the Law though smile some of the live stuff is interesting, the Spike Lee MDMT video is good.

I liked it more than I thought I would, but have only played it twice in 2 years.

I really think it's classy...This thought crossed my mind the other day...when thinking about sexy video's in general...

They can be...Sexy Sexy...Like Beyonce and Shakira
Or Sexy Cute...Like Mariah, Christina Aguilera, or Gwen Stefani.
Or Sexy Smart..Like Vanessa Williams or Basia.
"Cream" is sexy...with that classy, "All that Jazz" flavor...
Just to ask:
Doesn't Huey Lewis give reference to the song, "Cream," in "The Power of Love?"
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

i was not happy with it at all. so it has the long version of cream, (i already had the short version as well as diamonds and pearls on the hits dvd) and a couple of other videos from the album (including call the law :-S) but the concert footage goes for maybe a minute for each song.. pretty lame if u ask me.

It was nice, but those guitars suggest to me that it wasn't (totally) live.

I don't see the reference Tame....

The power of love is a curious thing
Make a one man weep, make another man sing
Change a hawk to a little white dove
More than a feeling thats the power of love

Tougher than diamonds, rich like cream
Stronger and harder than a bad girls dream
Make a bad one good make a wrong one right
Power of love that keeps you home at night

Chorus 1 :
You dont need money, dont take fame
Dont need no credit card to ride this train
Its strong and its sudden and its cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
Thats the power of love
Thats the power of love

First time you feel it, it might make you sad
Next time you feel it it might make you mad
But youll be glad baby when youve found
Thats the power makes the world goround

Chorus 2 :
And it dont take money, dont take fame
Dont need no credit card to ride this train
Its strong and its sudden it can be cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life

They say that all in love is fair
Yeah, but you dont care
But you know what to do
When it gets hold of you
And with a little help from above
You feel the power of love
You feel the power of love
Can you feel it ?
Hmmm

Chorus 3 :
It dont take money and it dont take fame
Dont need no credit card to ride this train
Tougher than diamonds and stronger than steel
You wont feel nothin till you feel
You feel the power, just the power of love
Thats the power, thats the power of love
You feel the power of love
You feel the power of love
Feel the power of love

are u talking about the places I highlighted???

The D&P DVD is cool. WB need to release "3 Chains O' Gold", "The Undertaker" and "Lovesexy Live" on DVD though. Not to mention the Syracuse gig.
