During the Purple Rain hysteria in 84, 85, there was a story on 60 Minutes about how all over the country, folks were naming their dogs Prince. And more than that, they were styling the dogs hair like Prince. They wore purple bandanas around the neck, etc. Now I know the name Prince was popular for German Shepherds in the early 70's. I knew 3 different families who all had German Shepherds and their dogs were all named Prince. I had one when I was little but her name was Missy.

My cats just sleep when Prince is on.....which is quite a lot bored They also clamber all over my keyboard when I'm trying to post on the org. I'll blame that for some of my more dodgy posts lol
