I defintely agree with PHEROMONE.

Id say:
pheromone
slave
now
tamborine
life can be so nice
good love
The future
elephants and flowers
desire (outtake)
pope
the word
when doves cry - he needs to bring this back in concerts, full version with chorus. Including it in an acoustic set would be cool, like the barenaked ladies version.
Shockadelica
automatic
the same December - the guitar kills me
mutiny
when you were mine - another one for the acoustic set
moonbeam levels
endorphine machine
wonderful ass
17 days
sweet baby
joint 2 joint

That was fun! And why the org is so great. I'm out eating breakfast logged on via my phone. And this was the perfect way to pass the time.

Life Can Be So Nice
And God Created Woman
Free (possibly one of the greatest songs the man has written.)
Partyup
In This Bed I Scream
Dinner With Delores
Space
Glam Slam
So Far So Pleased

Yep, and I'll go with the general consensus and say "Pop Life".

Still Waiting (that pianowork, those sugarsweet backgroundvocals!)

Party Up (great bassriff, those funky 'interlocking' synthsounds)

Automatic (not underrated by everyone, but for me its THE one song that defines the Minneapolis sound)

Around the world in a day (both harking back to psychedelic sixties rock, as looking forward to the world-music 'hype')

New Position (funk stripped down to the bone just like 'Kiss', but maybe even better, a bit too short unfortunately).

Life can be so nice (a cacaphony of energetic riffs and sounds, especially enjoyable while listening to it on headphones)

Hot Thing (gorgeous dry electro-funk, maybe not a truelly classic composition, but the way Eric Leeds 'kicks' in with his first solo is pure magic).

Lovesexy (Hyperactive, energetic funk-rock-gospel-jazz-avantgarde music, I have to be in the mood to listen to the song, but when i am, it blows my mind)

Graffiti Bridge (yep i agree, corny lyrics, and leaning a towards cheesy musical song, but personally i find the melody really addictive, and the layers of Sheila's percussion, the background vocals and Clare Fischers orchestrations create some delightfull bombastic earcandy. I would also like to note at Princes brilliant guitarsoloing in the last part of the songs, it might be burried underneath the wall of sound, but he is really shredding it to the max there, just like he did on Positivity for example).

Willing and able (maybe my favourite song from D&P, I love the south-african 'jive' vibe of this song, and yes, even Tony M. can't spoil the song).

The Morning Papers (maybe a bit too polished and over-arranged in the end, but Princes vocal delivery and guitarwork are awesome).

Letitgo (a very nice slice of pop-funk, catchy and with quite revealing lyrics)

Shy (one of his best 'ballads' of the nineties IMO, a bit overlooked i think)

Into the light (too short for its own good, but inspired playing by all the musicians involved and spinechilling background vocals by Rosie Gaines)

Damned if i do (a strange combination of cheesy pop and Cuban jazz that somehow works, at least for me it does: it always make me feel good).

Musicology (still one of my favourites Prince-songs from the 21th century so far, i love the sobered down approach and the basswork on this song).

You make my sun shine (One of his better ballads from the last 10 years, not spectecular, but very nice at least).

All the midnights in the world (My favourite song from Planet Earth, the kind of breezy, semi-acoustic pop - earlier examples: Raspberry Beret, Starfish and Coffee, Dinner with Dolores - that Prince should do way more often IMO. It shows he can still write a strong pop-melody.)

Not even. Be glad this one disappeared without a trace. New Power Soul it is not.
Planet Earth is the worst disc he's done.
The only Prince album I own I think that didn't have a single track with at least three stars on ITunes (I only rate three and up).
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Coming back to the concept of underrated. That has never been a concern of mine.
I know what I like and what I listen to. So because someone doesn't listen to a song as much, or it failed to make someone else's 50 list (No one believes it's static or a Top 50 list do they? I'm just sayin' . . .) doesn't mean it's underrated. We may all feel our I-Pods are underrated because everyone else is missing out on the best possible collection of 8547 songs on the planet. I don't care if radio ever plays a song I can listen to when I get ready.
I do wish I could have had a say in the release of singles for Prince though . . .
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Great Choices (minus Graffiti Bridge!)

I would add Dionne- the sublime, beautiful, poignant, perfectly arranged, touching and vocal masterpiece. I can't believe this song doesn't get the love it deserves. This is why it's great being a P junkie, so many flavors to choose from.

Sorry, but i dont feel Dionne, its so...well.....campy.

My favourites from the Truth album:
- The Truth (title track)
- Third Eye (Prince at his most bleakest)
- Circle of Amour (pretty, sweet melody)
- Animal Kingdom (crazy lyrics, but a nice psychedelic Beatles-pastiche)
- Comeback (I love the Joni-Mitchell like coda)
- Welcome to the dawn (a playfull take on a rock-anthem)
