Raspberry Beret Video Hey, I don't know if any1's ever mentioned this b4, bt I'm new here so cut me some slack.
I was watching the video to Raspberry Beret, and I swear that during the 2nd chorus it looks like Wendy is singing the wrong words. It looks like she's singing, ''the kind u buy in a 2nd hand store'' instead of 'find'. Watch her lips. Check it out. | |

"Raspberry Beret" is about the lead female character in the Dreams/Purple Rain script and movie -- the original role was intended for Vanity but later filled by Apollonia Kotero. The male character in the video (as mentioned above) is not Prince, but is "The Kid" from the movie. Peace. | |

I always thought Take Me With U and Raspberry Beret had the same feel. Nah...P originally recorded Rasberry Beret in 82. Months before the 1999 album was even released.
