So how funky is this song?

I was just in my studio, standing in front of my desk, looking over a deadline that I just finished, checking to see that all was in order. Or at least I thought that's all that I was doing. I was interrupted, when I suddenly, yet gently, felt the body of my girlfriend behind me, dancing in synch with the movement of my own body as I, without actually realizin' it, was groovin' to the infectious beats of this tune.
She told me that she couldn't resist joining me cuz she could tell that I was in the "purple zone".

This could really be classified damn near as a Prince song. Mainly cuz P's vocals are so way up front. It's really like a duet between him and Sheila. He was going to make sure that Sheila had another hit. Bangin' song.

I was on the subway going home Tuesday when this song popped up on my iPod and I tell you, I was in another world. I forgot how great this song was. And Giovanni777 is right, the album version is a must have. Too funky!
