I don't know i love them both i put together as my favorite artists i listen to them everyday going to work they are both in the number one spot for me

Without a doubt they are both very gifted!
When it comes to music,it's mostly a matter of taste what kind of music you appreciate the most. Personally I like Prince better, but who am I to say that Prince is more gifted than Stevie Wonder?

I think that they share the crown - they're both fantastic musicians, just slightly different. There's no way for me to choose really...

When Stevie was in the Bay Area this past summer, he got up on the Piano stool by himself, it was risky!

I think he was trying to rival Prince's dancing! I'm just glad that he stopped short of doing that splits-in-the-air thing.

I disagree with you. I believe Prince EXPANDED the realm of BLACLK music. Expansion and diversity is always a good thing although some may not partake, understand or appreciate, that's an individual taste; but to have a choice is what makes life wonderful.

Both of their early work is what they are judged by...and both were stellar.
No problem there, but Stevie has done NOTHING musically for the past 20-25 years. I Just Called To Say I Love You was an embarrassment. The man is gifted, but his voice is gone, so why not put out an instrumental piano CD?
This man is the epitamy of treading water musically (which is said alot around here about Prince)

Prince is still doing his thing, making great music and riding high while still looking sexy. He is the one, musically. He may not push himself like he used to (musically speaking), but he's still the best ticket around. When Stevie was 50 years old, the same couldn't be said about him...

I love me some Stevie, his work is probably my second fav, but he doesn't compare to Prince, not in my book.
