"C'mon y'all - let me hear you sing, c'mon y'all, shake, c'mon y'all, jump" - Yes Prince -
"London do you feel for me what I feel for you"- yes Prince -
"Can I play my guitar now?" - yes please

smile It would definitely sell! I think Amy was invited to Paisley Park but nothing has materialised yet and i heard she might be going to jamaica to work with damian marley. A lot depends on what happens post grammy's really obviously a further album and promotion in the states. smile Saw Amy dancing at the aftershow on september 9th and had a aftershow ticket for the last night but gave it up... i wonder if it will have been recorded and be released? Something very important came up (yes even more important than a prince gig!) My nephew's birth in fact cool

smile I depends what they would record together as i am sure Prince would want to do perhaps a whole album rather than just a few tracks and it depends on her label and her availability will be controlled by her record label now smile

I believe that it would be in Prince's best interest to wait until Amy has reduced Her attitide to a more professional level where drugs are concerned..

I can see some..at home. I am sure Amy will make for a very talented adult. It is not proper International conduct for someone that can possibly reach the hearts of many.

I wasn't that impressed with their performance at the last aftershow. I personally prefer Shelby and Prince's version of Love is a Losing Game. It was an emotional moment seeing her there on stage after all she had gone through and all the cancelled shows BUT musically or vocally speaking the two of them together was just aiight. confused

I don't understand the link. That myspace says nothing about a prince and amy duet

Whether it was good or a let down it would sell like hotcakes right now, with all the fuss over Amy. Bless her, hope shes sorts it all out. Its easy for people to judge her but not for her to take all the attention and try to live her life. Her voice is nice and her songwriting is great, shes just ropey live. I reckon give her a bit more time she'll get even in better live, shes still quite young after all not that she sounds it on the songs. Its funny how someone who writes lyrics so wise spirals out of control in life, but then you have to go through to know what you are talking about I guess.

obviously yes, both are great at what they do-she the revisionist he is a great dirvutive artist. both have taken elements of the old and added a twist that makes what they borrowed new and fresh.

It would be a great idea and great for Prince fans but will it sell? I don't think so. For some reason Prince duets (though he has done many) usually don't sell at all. I think a recorded duet would be fantastic. I just don't think it would sell outside of established Prince and Amy fans. confused

If she wasn't "cracked out" and in rehab there would have been something (even a live or unreleased song) out by now. There was a rumor here at the org that they were suppose to be at Paisley Park over Christmas doing something together.

I'm not sure ... she does have a funky sound but I get caught on the outside look... She has changed ...

She did look kind of fine in the before picture ....

I heard P say "Amy Winehouse...what a voice." He wanted her to do something with him while he was at o2. I remember her acting all nervous in an interview when the interviewer was telling her about P wanting to work with her.
