Prince made 8 million GBP from London gigs According to the London Paper today who had an article on the success of the O2 venue they reported that Prince made £8 million from his 21 nights! keerrrching!

They also said "The standard was set for gugs at the O2 by Prince" Ah, yes, but is that before they have deducted his clipper fares? 21 nights in London.. thats 42 journeys (there and then back to the hotel). All adds up. So, i'd say 8 mil is a little wide of the mark there. | |

Awful article. Gav mate I certainly wasn't commenting on the quality of the London Paper However, his revenue was obviously in that ballpark with a minimal of overhead in comparison to a tour that actually, ahem, tours! | |

Mr Nelson was paid differently to a percentage of the revenues. AEG were in control of profits this time | |
